This house represents perfectly the traditional architectural style of the villages in the French mountain area of Briancon.
The defining elements of a house are the number of wedges used in the roof structure, a characteristic met at over 70% of the houses in this area. For this project, the architect showcased the exterior of the house, plating it with larch wainscot, as it behaves well in winter, especially in high humidity.
The mounting of the house took only 4 weeks, with a team of 6 people.
