This project, a picturesque holiday house, faithfully observes the specific design of Pizzorne, Lucca Province, Italy perfectly fitting in its natural landscape. The mounting of the house took between 3 and 4 weeks, with a team of 5.
What makes the Marino house unique is the fusion of several constructive types, with the ground floor built using the Timber Frame system and the attic using the (Blockhouse) rectangular log system. Thus, the project acquired an organic look, well harmonized with the environment. Moreover, the way in which the architect managed to merge several materials, such as stone, wood and decorative plaster, conferred this house a unique, fluid and eye-pleasing look.
The distinctive visual elements of the constructions are details, such as the wood shutters, the floor of semi-round logs and the open terrace from the ground level.
